Over the past 20+ years, he worked as a professional songwriter and written music for award winning musicals, TV shows, other artists and his own singer-songwriter career. His songs have been performed by artists in Iceland and abroad, and he has gained a reputation as a prolific writer of memorable songs. Karlsson says, "Songwriting is a passion of mine, and when I'm not writing songs I love to talk shop with other songwriters."
Karlsson's mission is to help songwriters around the world to stop relying on "inspiration" and other myths, and empower them to create fantastic songs on-demand, making a living doing what they love.
